ABBE UTTER, LPC-MHSP

I am a licensed professional counselor, mental health service provider (LPC-MHSP). I received my B.S. in Psychology from Freed-Hardeman University and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University.

I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) levels 1 and 2, Somatic Experiential Therapy level 1, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Trust-Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI) Levels 1-4, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Method for Couples (level 1), and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

I am passionate about helping others feel free and empowered. Due to life-experiences, hurts, shame, we can all experience dissonance from self and find ourself with a myriad of symptoms due to what we have been through.

My hope, through using an integrative, individualistic therapeutic approach, is to help each client feel less-burdened and gain autonomy—freedom to be the truest, most alive version of self.

I am especially focused on working with individuals that have experienced trauma. Further, I have experience in working with individuals seeking to recover from an eating disorder; I work from evidenced-based modalities and am HAES-aligned. I have found that trauma, the body, and spirituality are intertwined in the healing work, and I am passionate about walking with individuals navigating their healing in regard to their spirituality. Further, I see individuals for:

-Existential concerns//Identity work—(Who am I? Where do I belong? What do I want? What do I believe?)

-Anxiety

-Depression

-Stress in Relationships

I welcome clients from all walks of life, in all bodies, and all genders.

Hello! I am deeply committed to building meaningful, collaborative therapeutic relationships with my clients. It is a profound honor to support individuals and couples as they navigate their journey toward emotional well-being. In our work together, I strive to create a compassionate, safe, and nurturing space where hope and healing can truly take root. Whether you're working through challenges, seeking to strengthen relationships, or hoping to find a greater sense of peace, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. With a strong commitment to personalized care, I draw from a range of approaches tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences, distressing memories, and emotional blocks that may be impacting their well-being. I’m also passionate about working with couples. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method—both evidence-based approaches known for strengthening emotional connection and improving relationship dynamics.

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from a wide range of ages and backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents, young men, and couples. I am dedicated to offering a thoughtful, individualized approach to support your specific goals and challenges. If you feel we might be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out to learn more about my services or to schedule a session.

SCOTT UTTER, LPC-MHSP

AUTUMN GARR, A-LPC-MHSP

Hi, I’m Autumn, a master’s level clinical mental health counselor with a master's degree from Trevecca Nazarene University.

I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults through various life transitions and challenges. The ebbs and flows of life are different for everyone and the same goes for healing and growing. My goal is to come alongside my clients by supporting them to not just overcome challenges but to also see growth.

My approach is deeply rooted in person centered while utilizing components of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and love to use art in therapy! I am also trained in collaborative assessment and management of suicidality (CAMS). I care deeply about walking alongside and supporting clients who have experienced trauma with a trauma focused approach.

I look forward to connecting to see if I am a good fit for you in your counseling journey.

Hannah Merrell, LPC-MHSP

Hannah strives to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change. Her approach is holistic, recognizing that healing and growth are most effective when the whole person is considered. With an emphasis on authenticity, vulnerability, and self-compassion, her goal is to help clients move beyond shame and perfectionism, cultivate deeper self-acceptance, and experience the freedom to live as their authentic selves.

Hannah works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. She is especially passionate about supporting those struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and their relationship with food and their bodies. She practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective and believes that healing involves cultivating self-compassion, connection, and trust in oneself.

Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. In her work with clients, she utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
