you are enough
May we all distance from shame stories and all that come with them and reconnect to our original goodness.
—-
I want you to KNOW
Deep down in your bones,
Circulating in your heart,
Threaded through the thoughts in your mind:
You are good enough.
It’s easy to get lost in pain, in power, in hunger for more.
In that quest, we can forget who we are.
And become disconnected from our truest, purest self.
Would you be brave enough to come back?
To remember. To reconnect.
With you. With your little self. With your older self.
With your goodness that is already in there?
You are good enough.
Without all the things.
Without all the likes.
Without all the invitations.
Sometimes, comparison and worry can cause your little self to have questions:
Do I have enough?
Do I do enough?
Do people like me enough?
Am I enough?
Leaving a pit of fear and scarcity in your stomach.
—
There’s wisdom in you though—you have only to connect to it.
She says:
Let me remind you,
You are not what you have.
You are not what you do.
You are not who people say you are.
You.
Your light.
Your laugh.
Your intricacies
Your very being is more than enough.
You ARE good enough.
Let that reach into every fiber of your being.
You have nothing to prove.
And no one to else be
Except you.
